Wentao Jiang
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR & WINDS
Master of Music graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Performed with the San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Opera, and won the Solo English Horn position with the Oakland Symphony.
Advanced as a final candidate in auditions for leading orchestras, including the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and San Francisco Opera.
Wentao trained with world-class orchestral musicians including Russ deLuna and Eugene Izotov of the San Francisco Symphony, as well as Robert Walters of The Cleveland Orchestra. As both a performer and mentor, he is deeply committed to developing the next generation of young artists through chamber music, orchestral training, and student leadership. His students have earned positions in leading California youth ensembles including San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, California Youth Symphony, San Jose Youth Symphony, Young People’s Symphony Orchestra, Oakland Youth Orchestra, Golden State Youth Orchestra, and the California All-State Ensembles.

San Francisco Conservatory of Music graduate, educator, and music entrepreneur focused on building modern music programs for the next generation of young artists.
Jason studied under mentors and educators from institutions including the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and The Juilliard School, and has spent over a decade working with students in violin, viola, and piano. Beyond teaching, Jason enjoys building meaningful music education programs that create lasting opportunities for students, families, and educators. His work has helped shape initiatives serving thousands of students across the Bay Area while contributing to educational programs that have delivered more than 100,000 music learning sessions throughout North America. Jason’s educational philosophy centers around long-term artistic growth, mentorship, and meaningful musical experiences that extend beyond competition and exams alone. Through both teaching and program development, his work focuses on helping students build creativity, confidence, leadership, and a lifelong connection to music. His students have earned positions in leading youth ensembles across Northern California, including Fremont Youth Symphony Orchestra, California Youth Symphony, and other competitive student orchestras throughout the region.
